The European Commission has launched a competition to identify Europe’s top future innovators and their innovations. These innovators have been identified through the European Commission’s Innovation Radar. Up until 15 October 2017, people were able to vote for their favourites among 48 nominees. 20 finalists were selected on the basis of this public vote. In the category “Tech for society”, Amphiro, partner in the DAIAD project, made it to the finals with their self-powered smart shower. Amphiro now get to pitch their plans for going to market with their EU-funded tech to a jury of experts at the ICT Proposers’ Day in Budapest (9 November 2017).
