KINDRA PROJECT FINAL CONFERENCE - Making Groundwater Visible, Accessible & Esteemed
As KINDRA reaches its end, the Consortium proudly invites you to participate at the project Final Conference organised on the 27th of February of 2018 in the Académie Royale de Belgique, Brussels.The main goal of the event is to widely communicate the results of KINDRA, namely the European Inventory on Groundwater Research (EIGR) - the first online tool exclusively dedicated to groundwater research and knowledge, the Harmonized Research Classification System (HRC-SYS) it relies on and the results of the gap analyses. Last but not least it aims to start a conversation about the future of the Inventory with stakeholders and decision-makers to identify a roadmap for developing policies, strategies, and management options at European level related to groundwater.The participation at the event is free of charge but requires registration.

Action Plan 2017 Flash report
On December 1st 2017, the ICT4Water cluster presented an Action Plan to support the setting out of a Digital Single Market of Water Services. The Action Plan for a Digital Single Market for Water Services is focusing on a wider approach including Water Management, Treatment, Reuse, Circular Economy and every water-related area, and all other relevant areas where ICT can contribute. It proposes the creation of a borderless Digital single market for water services, and contributes to the Connected Digital Single Market and the Resilient Energy Union objectives by promoting sustainable smart technologies in the water sector.
EIP on Water 2017 Flash report
On the framework of Porto Water Innovation Week (PWIW), from September 24 - 30, the ICT4Water cluster has reached an important impact delivering high quality knowledge in several activities, workshops and presentations. Cluster members had the opportunity of create synergies, expose results and build networking among more than 1000 water innovators. The flash report provides a summary of the most relevant activities conducted and lists the presentations given at the event.
Water Innovation Europe 2017 Flash report
Last June 14th 2017, during annual Water Innovation Europe Event held in Brussells, 21 ICT4water cluster related projects participated in an open worshop with other Working Groups and Members of the WssTP. Fruitful discussons on “Digital Water” relevant areas indentified by the ICT4Water cluster, such us the following ones, were conducted.
Waterwise 2017 Flash report
The annual Waterwise conference held in London on 8 March 2017 was an exceptionally stimulating event with 19 ICT4water cluster projects funded by EU that shared experiences and presented results on ICT applied to water to enhance networking, communication, dissemination, policy, research and market opportunities returns.
ICT4Water discussion platform launched on Futurium
As follow up to the roadmap, an Action Plan to suggest the creation of a borderless Digital Single Market for water services will emerge from the inputs/discussion gathered from the ICT4Water cluster and taking into account other relevant reports from water related initiatives. Futurium provides a forum for registered users to exchange personal and professional views on the Action Plan for Water Digital Single Market in utmost transparency. You are invited to contribute and interchange experiences in view to deliver the Action Plan.
Ict4water at EIP Water conference
Ict4water was present at the 3rd EIP Water Conference from 9-11 February 2016 in Leeuwarden, The Netherlands. On behalf of the ICT4Water cluster, WIDEST coordination and support action organised a side event where advances of EC funded projects related to ICT applied to water sector were presented, together with two special sessions about Big Data, and another one about the EIP Water Marketplace.
